Charlie Sheen is never tired of hearing that he wanted for his demand for $ 100 million in his shot of “Two and a Half Men”: a judge ruled Wednesday that a jury must determine whether the case was handled in private or a “hearing room.
Sheen contract with Warner Bros.. The decision is likely to dampen the publicity about the case in the short term, but the lawyer said Sheen still argue that the case should be heard in public.
Sheen has sued Warner Bros.. and executive manufacturer of “Men” Chuck Lorre March 10, just days after Sheen was fired from his starring role Rated comedy on television.
Goodman has also determined that Lorre is a valid clause in his contract with Warner Bros.. for disputes resolved by arbitration.
Warner Bros.. and Lorre would both cases treated in private. Sheen filed papers opposing the effort and hear every day about the issue in April.
Attorney Marty Singer, representing Sheen, said the ruling did not decide whether the case is heard in private and said it should be managed in the public judicial system. Sheen said the claim is valid in its application and stopping the study of at least $ 10,000,000 and royalties on the sale of replicas of the series.
Warner Bros.. and Lorre attorneys welcomed the decision on Wednesday and said he was given the right contract Sheen.
